Senda ferrada - Alpine fixed rope route on Piz Mitgel

There are 1,320 m in altitude difference, 220 footholds, one 1 km steel wire rope, one overhang and two narrow ridge walks to conquer before climbers can make it to the top of the route, at 3,159 m above sea level. Adrenaline rushes are guaranteed on Piz Mitgel. The Senda ferrada combines the experience of an energetic fixed rope route with a vertical face and the conquest of a three-thousander with an awesome view.


Ausserhalb der Öffnungszeiten ist die Begehung des Klettersteigs verboten. Es ist lebensgefährlich, da Haken und Seile nicht fixiert und eingezogen sind und sowie noch nicht auf ihre Festigkeit geprüft wurden.

Senda ferrada - Alpiner Klettersteig Piz Mitgel

Total 1320 Höhenmeter, 220 Tritte, ein 1km Drahtseil, einen Überhang sowie zwei schmale Gratwanderungen gilt es zu überwinden, um auf dem Klettersteig ganz nach oben auf 3159 m ü. M. zu gelangen. Adrenalinschübe sind garantiert am Piz Mitgel. Die Senda ferrada verbindet das Erlebnis eines sportlichen Klettersteiges mit einer senkrechten Wand und der Besteigung eines Dreitausenders mit einer überwältigenden Aussicht.

Routes
Senda verticala: Senda verticala: The main ascent is difficult both technically and with respect to the conditions. The route throws up various challenges and users are strongly advised not to undertake it with children or those who are not trained climbers.

Senda diagonala: This variant, shorter by about half, with around 200 m altitude difference, is also suitable for climbers with less experience.

Senda finala: the summit tour on 3,159 m high Piz Migel. After this final section you will have earned the wonderful 360 degree view. Just enjoy.

The correct equipment guarantees not only more fun, but also safety.

Obligatory climbing equipment:

  • Helmet
  • Climbing harness
  • Gloves recommended

- In stormy weather or thunderstorm, get away from the ironware! Get off the climbing route!

- The route is closed in winter, generally from around the end of October to the middle of June.
