An artists` homebase
The popular painter Giovanni Segantini (1858-1899) spent eight special years of his working-life in Savognin. The art gallery has turned into a national and international meeting point for art friends.

Segantini`s achievement in Savognin
Segantini grew up in northern Italy. While seeking new landscapes  for his paintings, he got to Savognin in 1886. The scenery of the mountains inspired him immediately, thus he draw some really famouns paintings.
