Welcome to Bivio
The name Bivio means “fork in the road” and is inextricably linked to the two Roman passes of Septimer and Julier. The village, with 260 inhabitants, has the most extraordinary linguistic make-up of Europe, according to one distinguished expert in Bivio. It is the highest village in the Surses valley.
