The castle marmels
Proudly 150m above the valley ground and the one and only village Marmorera at the Septimer- and Julierroute, are the ruins of the castle Marmels. About 1550 this castle was still occupied. Unfortunately it had fallen victim to a fire.

From Zurich to Chur with the SBB, then with the RhB or by bus to Tiefencastel and further with the bus to Marmorera.

by car:

from Basel - Zurich: via Chur-Thusis-Tiefencastel, drive on in direction Savognin. Drive to Marmorera.
